I just got back from ABA in Edmonton – well actually, I just finished shooting Episode 1 of CrossCheck with Josh and Randy Taylor, and now I’m eating spaghetti with liberal amounts of both seasoning salt and parmesan cheese. The hair show was earlier. Today was one hell of an eventful day! Got up at 7 am to leave for the hair show, spent most of the day there, rushed back and got home literally 30 minutes before the show was due to go live, found out our Skype video calling wasn’t working and I had to rush to fix it all up, download Josh’s video segment to insert into the end of the show, get Josh and Randy on the line and ready. All in all we were finally ready one minute before we went live, with only 60 seconds to spare.
Anyway, the hair show wasn’t bad. Tabatha Coffey spoke on the main stage and I like her, she’s cool beans! And I managed to walk around the hair show with a huge wad of cash in my pocket and not buy a single thing. Nothing. Go me! I took a few pictures, although it’s been awhile since I’ve had a camera in my hands. I want to get back into the swing of things with photography. Some day I want to be like the Canadian Randy Taylor! haha
I was pretty much in love with this model at the Redken stage:
Jake Thompson had some ultra cool stuff going on at his stage:
Surprisingly, the Nioxin stage had some nice stuff going on too:
And some silly stuff:
And this is totally a crappy picture but I just really dig the green hair on the model, so, deal with it!
And here’s another pic of the kickass redhead who made all the other models look like they dropped out of posing school. Why? Because it’s my blog and I like redheads dammit.
